If you do not attend without any prior notification, you will be charged the full appointment fee.

What is a Clinical Psychologist?

Clinical Psychologist is a legally protected title in the UK, which means that anyone using this title must have the appropriate doctoral level training and must uphold strict ethical and clinical standards regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).  You can confirm whether someone is a registered psychologist by searching the HCPC register here for practitioner psychologist. Clinical psychologists undergo extensive academic and clinical training for a minimum of six years and are trained in multiple evidenced based therapeutic models and to work with people across the lifespan. Clinical Psychologists often work as therapists but our training and post-qualification experience also enables us to work in leadership roles including providing supervision, training, managing teams and conducting research.

What happens during therapy?

We will collaboratively make sense of your difficulties, then agree on a plan. Therapy entails discussing your difficulties to enhance your understanding of them. In individual sessions and through between-session tasks, you will develop practical strategies and skills to effectively manage difficult feelings and navigate life's challenges.

Where does therapy take place?

I offer online therapy on video call via Zoom and limited in-person sessions in Clapham, London.
